Tuareg bangles and bracelets
Most pieces in this collection come from Tuareg artisans in Niger. Some of them are made in Mohamed's workshop. He learned the craft from his father as a teenager and now runs the workshop with his brothers, other relatives and friends. They work with silver and ebony, and the patterns are engraved by hand. We source these bangles directly from the workshop.
What you will find here
- Open bangles and cuffs, wide or narrow, with the typical geometric Tuareg patterns. Thanks to the open shape, they are easy to put on.
- Beaded bracelets with silver elements and natural beads.
- A few models in other materials, such as a leather bracelet with a magnetic clasp or an elastic bracelet with brass.
The product page states whether a piece is made of silver, recycled silver or another alloy. Because every piece is handmade, patterns and dimensions may differ slightly from the photo.
Which size fits?
Many bangles are one size, for example for wrists of 17 to 19 cm. The exact measurements are listed for each model. Measure your wrist just above the bone and compare.
Care
Silver tarnishes over time. With Tuareg jewelry this is not necessarily a drawback, as the dark lines bring out the engraving. If you want the bright shine back, a silver polishing cloth is enough. Ebony and leather should not get wet. More tips in our jewelry care guide.
