For these rings, modern mainly means clear shapes with an idea behind them. A ring made of five interlocking bands, an anti-stress ring with ten moving beads, a rotating ring with a rope pattern, spirals, waves, moon phases or a heartbeat drawn as a line. Plus delicate rings with moonstone, opal, amethyst, turquoise or zirconia.

Material

Almost all the rings here are made of 925 sterling silver, some of them from India and Greece. There are a few exceptions, for example Tuareg rings from Niger, a Greek ring made of zamak and a crown ring with brass. The material is listed on each product page. If you want genuine silver only, you will also find it in the collection 925 silver rings.

Narrow or wide?

Narrow rings look good stacked two or three on one finger or spread across the hand. Wide models work better on their own: try your index or middle finger, where they show to best effect. More wide models in Wide rings.

The right size
