Earrings with stones
A stone brings colour to the face, often more than any metal. In this collection you will find earrings with natural stones such as turquoise, labradorite, moonstone, onyx, lapis lazuli, malachite and aventurine, with abalone shell and mother-of-pearl, and with crystals and zirconia.
Where they come from
- India: earrings in 925 sterling silver with natural stones, from small studs to long drops. Labradorite and rainbow moonstone shimmer differently depending on the light.
- Spain: designs with Swarovski crystals, mostly made of zamak, in colours natural stones do not come in.
- France: gold-tone stainless steel earrings with small semi-precious stones.
- Niger: large Tuareg earrings in silver with stone.
Gemstone, natural stone or crystal?
These terms are often mixed up. Most of our stones are semi-precious stones such as turquoise, onyx or labradorite. Crystals and zirconia are man-made and have their own sparkle. The product page tells you which stone is used in a pair. Because natural stones have grown in nature, each one looks a little different from the photo.
Care
Natural stones and mother-of-pearl tolerate neither silver dips nor ultrasound. Wipe them with a soft cloth after wearing and take the earrings off before showering and swimming.
