Handmade rings
Here you will find all the rings made by artisans and small workshops. You can recognise them by details no machine produces: slightly irregular surfaces, stones set by hand and patterns that turn out a little differently on every piece.
Where the rings come from
- Greece: wide, solid rings in ethnic and Tuareg style such as Tariga, Fezán, Gladiator or Mandala, often with a matt surface, plus the olive leaf and flower rings by Mother Nature Jewelry.
- India: rings in 925 sterling silver with stones such as rainbow moonstone, turquoise, onyx, chalcedony or labradorite, from narrow to wide.
- Niger: Tuareg rings by silversmiths who pass the craft down through the family.
- France and the Netherlands: contemporary designer rings, for example in recycled silver by Maä or minimalist rings by Afra Amba from Amsterdam.
- Spain: statement rings, some with a pearl or Swarovski stone.
Material
The materials depend on the workshop. The rings from India, France and the Netherlands are 925 sterling silver. Some of the large rings from Greece and Spain are made entirely or partly of zamak. The exact material is listed on each product page.
Size
Many of the ethnic rings are open and easy to adjust. For closed rings, our ring size guide will help.
To match: handmade earrings.
