Discover zamak jewellery with character: rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets, often handmade by small workshops in Spain, Greece and other regions. Zamak is an alloy made mostly of zinc that is particularly well suited to expressive shapes and fine details. Many designs are silver- or gold-plated; you will find the material and coating clearly stated in each product description.

Zamak jewellery: frequently asked questions
Is zamak real silver?
No. Zamak is a zinc alloy. A zamak piece can, however, be coated with silver or gold. If a design also contains 925 sterling silver, this is explicitly stated in the product description.
Can zamak jewellery tarnish?
Uncoated zamak can become duller over time; with coated pieces, the appearance depends mainly on the type and thickness of the surface and on how the piece is used.
How do you care for zamak jewellery?
Store it dry, avoid perfume, cleaning products, chlorine and salt water, and clean it with a soft, dry cloth. Please do not use abrasive cleaners or glass cleaner.
Is zamak nickel-free?
This cannot be said across the board for every piece, because the coating, clasps and other components are decisive. The material information on each product page is binding.
